Dr. William McCown - President
Bill has served on the Board since 2002. He is the Associate Dean for Research at the University of Louisiana-Monroe. He graduated with a PhD in Clinical Psychology.
Lonnie Bridges, Sr. - Past President
Lonnie has served on the Board for over 6 years. He served as a US Marine. He is the CEO of Bridges Adaptive Management!, BAM. He has a degree in Engineering, has an advanced certification in Human Resources and Crisis Management. He has over 20 years in Casino Management.
Honorable Henry Burns - Vice President
Henry joined the Board over 10 years ago. He served from 2008-2016 in the Louisiana House of Representatives. His degrees are in Education and High School Administration. He currently works as the Business Development Consultant with BOM Bank.
Dr. Wayne Steve Thompson - Treasurer
Steve joined the Board in 2017. He has a master’s in Criminal Justice and his doctorate in Public Safety. He currently works as a Professor at the McNeese University in Criminal Justice. He worked over 7 years with the Louisiana State Police Gaming Enforcement Division.
John D. Collinsworth
John has served on the Board over 12 years and has served in many executive positions. He served in the US Army and graduated from LSU-Law School. John is a Petroleum Landman.
Gerald Beasley
Gerald joined the Board in 2019 after many years of partnering with LACG staff on Responsible Gaming courses and community support. He is the Vice President of Hotel Operations & Administration at the Horseshoe Casino-Bossier City. He has over 23 years’ experience in the gaming industry and has a degree in accounting and a master’s in business administration.
Frank Williams
Frank has been serving on the Board since 2006. He is the Executive Director for Southern University Shreveport Foundation. He received his master’s in Industrial Technology. Frank has worked more than 30 years in commercial banking and over 13 years in the gaming industry.
Nancy Snow
Nancy joined the Board in 2023 after volunteering at LACG. She has been an Attorney for over 27 years.
Kimberly Chopin
Kimberly joined the Board in 2023, after working with LACG on many community events over several years. She is the Director of Communications with the Louisiana Lottery Corporation.
Dr. Anissa Horne
Anissa joined the Board in 2026. She has her Ph.D. in Philosophy, and she is an Associate Professor at the University of Louisiana-Monroe in the Department of Sociology & Social Work.
Dr. Ellie Wroten
Ellie joined the Board in 2026. She has her Ph.D. in Human Development and Family Sciences, and she is an Assistant Professor at McNeese State University in the Department of Social Sciences.
